Last Known Activity
Private Walter French died of wounds on December 8, 1941, suffered during the attack on Pearl Harbor.  He was assigned to Battery A,  89th Field Artillery, Schofield Barracks.

He had enlisted on 2 July 1940.

He was interred in Cleburne Memorial Cemetery, Cleburne, Texas in 1947.
