Last Known Activity
Private First Class Oreste DaTorre was Killed in Action on December 7, 1941, during the attack on Pearl Harbor.  He was assigned to the 41st Coast Artillery, C Battery, Fort Kamehameha.

PFC DaTorre was one of the men killed when the Japanese Zero, piloted by PO1 Takeshi Hirano from the Akagi, crash landed in a street at Fort Kamehameha, coming to rest at the entrance to the ordnance machine shop.
