Miss Him
When I arrived in Vietnam in 6/1969, Jerry was already there. We immediately became good friends and I was with him until his death. I think of Jerry often and still miss him. He was a great soldier and defended his country proudly. Jerry referred to me as Zero, which I will never forget.

To a good friend.
To a friend that gave his life for freedom. The days and years spent growing up together will never be forgotten. My prayer is that someday i will see you in Heaven.I know the LORD has a place for soldiers.

Time has no limit to the hurt. After thirty years, I still remember you , as if it was only yesterday, I still wonder why we were even in that country. I also realize that if it wasn't for men like us , others wouldn't have their freedom, You shall never be forgotten, for I carry you with me daily. We were in different units of the 84th Engineers, but we were friends. I can still see you , in your War Wagon, Gun Truck. I SALUTE YOU!! Jerry Lane Green
