Staff Sergeant Samuel Pookeaokal Giffard

Let us not forget Staff Sergeant Samuel Pookeaokal Giffard, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army, SSG Giffard served our country until January 25th, 1966 in South Vietnam. He was 32 years old and was married. Samuel died when his plane crashed into the land. His body was recovered. Samuel was born on December 7th, 1933 in Honolulu, Hawaii.

SSG Giffard is on panel 04E, line 089 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for 14 years.
