Last Known Activity

Captain U.S. Army, {0-2287585}, Vietnam War-Capt. Fleer was killed in action by rocket fire on 2-8-1969 while serving as a Rotary Wing Aviation Unit Commander with the 135th AHC, 214th Aviation Battalion, 12th Aviation Group, 1st Aviation Brigade. Capt. Fleer started his tour of Vietnam on 10-20-1967. He was prior Enlisted USAF and USAR. Capt. Fleer is the son of Mr. & Mrs. William F. Fleer of 3081 West 56th Place, Denver, Colorado, and the beloved husband of Mrs. Beverly J. Fleer of 10743 Santa Fe Street, Denver, Colorado.
