SP4 Ron Doolittle serve with C Battery, 7th Battalion, 15th Field Artillery Regiment, 52nd Field Artillery Group, I Field Force, with his tour beginning 13 October 1970.

He was killed when he was thrown from his vehicle in an accident.

He left a wife, Susan, at his passing in Saginaw, Oregon.

He was interred in Fir Grove Cemetery, Cottage Grove, Lane County, Oregon
