Last Known Activity
At the time of his loss, PFC Donaldson was serving with 114th Assault Helicopter Company, Delta Aviation Battalion, U.S. Army Support Command, Vietnam, MACV, flying out of Vinh Long Army Air Field, RVN.  He was TDY as a shotgun gunner from B Company, 1st Battalion, 5th Infantry Regiment, Army Support Command, Vietnam MACV.

On 29 June 1964, he was the gunner of a UH-1B (tail number 62-01919) that was lost during a smoke mission. Aircraft was found crashed. No other information
