I remember getting the news like it was yesterday. We had talked right before you left and you were looking forward to getting out of the army in December. Rest well good soldier, good friend, good man.

Butch was a buddy. Played Pony league Baseball with him and hung together for awhile. He was our first reality of how bad this war was getting. I enlisted in the USAF Nov. '66. Another from Cambria Hts later to fall was Michael Menchise. We remeber them both every now and then, especially on Memorial Day and Veterans Day.

A tribute to Dominic, one of the 234 young Americans who died in three days of fighting in LZ-Xray & Albany, November 1965, in The Valley Of Death, the Ia Drang. Lest we forget our fallen heroes, those who gave the last measure of devotion. may their Souls' be cradled in the Arms Of The Lord Forever.
