Last Known Activity
PFC Davis served with Company A, 1st Aviation Battalion, 52nd Combat Aviation Battalion, dtached from C Troop, 3rd Squadron, 4th Cavalry as a "Shotogun" gunner for the helicopter unit.

He was killed in action aboard his UH-1B (tail number 63-08647) during a recon of an LZ near Plei Me when the main rotor separated from the ship at 2,000 feet.  All 4 crewmen were killed in th crash.
