Sgt. Lorenzo Chapa attended the NCO Academy at Harmony Church, Fort Benning, Georgia and received a promotion to Sergeant E-5 upon completion.

In Vietnam, he was assigned as a squad leader ...

He was killed by small arms fire in Lang Son, RVN.

Lorenzo was interred in Fairmont Cemetery, San Angelo, Texas.
