One of West Point's best go gave everything for the rest.
My memories go back to preschool at West Point, your Dad (our Scoutmaster) and my Dad were also friends. I enjoyed those years growing up in what now I believe was the best part of our country. We drove around the elementary school playground in a car your father had build that I am sure we were not old enough to drive on the streets. You played football on one of our winning teams as I watched from the sidelines. God bless you Lewis and all your fellow members on the Wall. Thomas Lane Gray

Dear soldier good and true, No one's forgotten especially you, After you fought for freedom's call, Not all you got was a name on a wall, You are remembered. Dear soldier good and true, You healed and helped so people love you, You may have died in bloody Vietnam, You helped freedom but the war we didn't win You are remembered. Dear soldier good and true, Remember, we remember you Through your courage and dedication You helped save our nation You will always be remembered.

My only memory of Louis Jr.was when I was about five years old- I remember it being during Christmas or thanksgiving- I'm not sure if this is correct but he was in his uniform and I was impressed of how he looked and that he was serving our country.I think about him every once and awhile and I am very proud of him and to all those who have served.
