Last Known Activity
Col. Burnett was lost when the helicopter in which he was a passenger was shot down during Lam Son 719.  Two soldiers were able to evade the enemy and were able to return to friendly lines.  He was severly wounded and shot along with the injured pilot, WO1 Randolph Ard),  following the crash.  

Though their bodies were buried near the crash site, they were not found until 2005
