Last Known Activity
Captain Bryant served 4 tours of duty in Vietnam during his 8 years of service.  During his last tour, he was serving with the 334th Assault Helicopter Company.

He and Major Robert W. Arnold were flying an AH-1G (tail number 67-15673). He was killed in action when his Cobra was shot down crashed near the Bay of Reeds in the Parrot's Beak in Long Khanh, South Vietnam during a night mission.   He had received a battlefield commission inn 1967 from his previous warrant officer status.

He was interred in Four Mile Cemetery, south of his hometown of Maryville in Blount County, Tennessee.
