1st Lt Larry Britten, Co., A, 1st, Bn, 12th, Cavalry, An Khe, 1966

1st, Lt., Larry Britten, (USMA, Class of 1963) joined, our battalion, in the 1st, Cavalry Division, in South Vietnam, at the end of January 1966. He was assigned, as Executive Officer, of Company A. I was, CO., of Company B, and took, this picture, of him in the base camp, at An Khe, in March 1966. Later in March, the CO., of the Company A, was badly wounded. Larry took, command and was, himself killed, in action, a few weeks later.
