I just wanted, to update my email address, in case anyone out there would like to get in touch with me, about my good friend, Sgt., Brewster. When ever, I think about Vietnam, Glenn, is the 1st, person, who always comes, to mind first.

“You are Remembered”
Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. “He which hath no stomach, to this fight, let him depart. But we in it, shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother.” Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless you, for your Sacrifice!!!

Squad Leader
Glenn was, a good friend, he was always, upbeat and always, on the go. I shared, my breakfast with Glenn, the morning, he died. on this morning, we were heading, down a mountain, when orders were called in, from headquarters, for me and another friend, to come back, up the mountain, because we were, to be flown back, to our rear fire base, to go, before a board, of sargents and officers, to be tested, for a rank promotion. When ever, Glenn walked point, I walked, behind him and he walked behind me, when I walked point, as Glenn was leading, a patrol this morning, down the mountain and across, a valley, [rice paddy] he tripped, a booby trapped exposive. [large 500lb., bomb] the man, behind Glenn was killed, as well and one, or two, others wounded. Glenn, was a good guy, he was always, showing me pictures, of his girlfriend, from back home. I was, so upset over his death, that I flunked my test, to become a sargent, but my biggest reward though, came later down the road, because I'm happily married, w/four children. I was one, of the lucky ones. God bless you, Glenn, such a waste, was your death.

Only GOD Knows.
Glen and I Grew up, on Mt. Prospect Ave., in Newark, NJ.. His Mom, was a "Lady," that ran a Quest House, or a Boarding house, she was so proud, but so afraid, for Glen. I served, as a medic, with the 173rd, Airborne Brigade, in Viet Nam and as a result of combat, I was awarded the Silver Star. When I came home, I was kind, of a home town hero, Glen would say, kidding around, his was going, to at least earn, a Silver Star. My advise to him, at the time, was just do our job, to the best, of your abilities and you, will be rewarded. At the time, I did not know, that he would, truly, be rewarded, not only as a " Hero," but as someone, that touched others, who, after all these years, remember Glen. I know, his mother was worried, but I also know, she was proud, of Glen. It's been an Honor, to know and remember.

Please know, that you have, not been forgotten and always will hold a special place, in my heart! It would have been nice, to have known you, as a person and I greatly, appreciate your service! AN INTENSE SOLDIER
I WAS, GLENN'S PLATOON LEADER, FOR SEVERAL MONTHS. HE WAS, A VERY INTENSE INDIVIDUAL. HE WAS, A RELIABLE AND DEDICATED, SOLDIER. HE WAS, THE TYPE OF GUY, THAT YOU WERE GLAD, HE WAS ON YOUR SIDE, BECAUSE HE WAS GOING, TO GIVE THE EMEMY "HELL." I BELIEVE, THAT HE NORMALLY CARRIED, A M14, RATHER THAN, THE STANDARD ISSUE M16. HE WAS SNIPER, QUALIFIED. GLENN WAS, THE BEST EXAMPLE, OF A COMBAT SOLDIER, THAT I, EVER KNEW. TO GLENN AND HIS MEMORY, I CAN ONLY SAY, "KEEP ON, GIVING THEM HELL."
