PFC. U.S. Army, Vietnam War-Pfc. Bohan was killed in action by artillery & rocket fire on 7-10-1970 while serving as a Light Weapons Infantryman with the Pathfinder Platoon, Headquarters Co. of the 101st Aviation Battalion, 101st Aviation Group, 101st Airborne Division in Vietnam at Camp Eagle near Phu Bai. Pfc. Bohan started his tour of Vietnam on April 11, 1970.

He is the son of Mr. William S. & Mrs. Dorothy June {Seeds} Bohan of 612 East Republic, Peoria, Illinois, and is a 1969 graduate of Spalding Institute in Peoria, and was in the Army by July of 1969.

Besides his parents, he leaves two brothers, Daniel James who is in Dijon, France, and Timothy Joseph Bohan at home.

Awards: Purple Heart Medal, Bronze Star Medal with One Oak Leaf Cluster, Combat Infantry Badge, Jump Wings, Pathfinder Badge, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with One Service Star, National Defense Service Medal.
