Private Alva Nestor, son of Alec Nestor died of Tuberculosis at Fort Wadsworth, New York. Alva was serving with Battery D, 70th Coastal Artillery and is buried at the Nestor Cemetery, in Bull Run, Tucker County, West Virginia.
