SP4 Becerra was the crew chief of a UH-1H (#68-15262) that was brought down by Non-Artillery launched or static weapons containing explosive charges. (RPG-7, 7.62MM) killing all crew and passengers
He was honored along with the rest of the crew at Arlington National Cemetery and interred at Greenlawn Cemetery in 2001.
