Last Known Activity
Private Joe Bohoney apparently made the Salerno landings and fought his way to the Battle at Camino-Maggiore hill mass. Men of the 142nd came down the hill for Thanksgiving dinner, but Pvt Bohoney didn't make it through the day. The Germans were firing from above with various weapons at the 142nd. 7 weeks of heavy combat caused Pvt Bohoney to run out of luck. R.I.P.
On 3-16-1949 Pvt Bohoney was interred in Arlington national Cemetery
