In April of 1968, SP4 Amspacher was in A/4/3 IN, and was wounded by sniper fire in the leg.  Date of transfer to B Company is unknown. See http://www.americal4ofthe3.com/images/42868.pdf for the log of the events in April 1968.

DUSTOFF request for 3 US WIA when ΒΌ  truck was ambushed. Co. B persons involved;

Ambush occurred enroute to LZ Charlie Brown - hit with Automatic Weapons and grenades.  Report indicates a mine detonated under the vehicle.
