Last Known Activity
Sgt. Arnold Andring re-enlisted on 9 November 1945 as a PFC at Fort Ord, California.

In Korea, he served with L Company, 3rd Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division, 8th Army.

He went missing during combat operations on 15 February 1951 near Chaum-Ni, Korea and died in captivity at what was known as Bean Camp, Suan, North Korea on  30 April 1951.

Sgt Andring's remains were accounted for on 22 January 2015.  He was interred in St. Michael's Cemetery, Mahnomen, Minnesota.
