Translation below from the Blog:

The "Russian" was the nickname of IVAN ALFEROFF ROSILLO, born in the District of Magdalena del Mar on September 3, 1943, the son of a Russian citizen based at the Peru and Lima Lady in surname Rocillo. It was the only male of three brothers (Nina, Ivan and Olga). Vivian in the cdra. 6 of Huamanga, in Magdalena del Mar district.

From a young age I emphasize by his athletic poise and his love for football. More than once he ran behind a ball, defending the colors of his neighborhood of "Jr.Huamanga", in the missing oratory of Magdalena. Income as a child "well born" in this district, in the glorious Zarumilla College, where he stood not only for his wisdom but by their character and temple of fighter. That doubt cabe, who didn't fight in the Zarumilla of that time, learned to blows. New York 60, saw him streets, very different from his old and dear Magdalena, there shared his nostalgia for the distant homeland with Alfredo Palao, another Zarumillano; with who is enrolled in the Army of USA. He belonged to the first battalion (Airborne), 12 Cavalry - company A Co and held the rank of Specialist Forth Class / E4.

There are many versions about his death. In those days it was rumored among the walls of the school, that Ivan had been reached by the shrapnel of a grenade when descending in his parachute and others more recent recounted that he was shot dead when trying to rescue with his company, 8 colleagues surrounded by the fu You erzas Vietnamese.

The truth of all is that he was 22 years old when reached it death in any spot of Viet Nam in the South, on March 3, 1966, far from your home from their homeland and their flag; that we were taught to revere and respect, Don Alejandro Gonz├íles Centeno; not only each June 7, or in school parades each July 28, but every moment of our life.

Feel the cool breeze on your grave... and rest forever in the shadow of our memory, brother, friend, Comrade and eternal zarumillano. The day of the repatriation of his remains, I play to do the guard of honour, in the wake carried out in the Hospital Militar of the Av. Brazil; near Rollet, Schneider, Baez, Scala and Virreyra. We understood then, as you can kill thousands of Km away from homeland fighting under a flag that was not ours, and in a war that we never dream.
