PFC ROBERT LEE CARR WAS A FARM HAND BEFORE ENTERING THE SERVICE ON 12 APRIL 1943. PFC CARR SERVED IN EUROPE FROM 21 FEBRUARY 1944 UNTIL 4 DECEMBER 1945 WITH THE 526TH ARMORED INFANTRY BATTALION. AFTER RETURNING TO THE STATES PFC CARR WAS HONORABLY DISCHARGED AT FORT MEADE, MARYLAND ON 23 DECEMBER 1945. ROBERT LEE CARR PASSED AWAY IN BALTIMORE, MARYLAND ON 11 SEPTEMBER 2011.
