Last Known Activity

Corporal White was a member of Company G, 2nd Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. He was taken Prisoner of War while fighting the enemy in North Korea on December 3, 1950 and died while a prisoner at Camp 1 on the south bank of the Yalu River on May 12, 1951 of malnutrition and dysentery. His remains were identified and recovered on 14 July 2016. CPL White's name is permanetely inscribed on the Courts of the Missing (Court 8) at the Honolulu Memorial.
