Pvt. Donald Bays enlisted from Virginia.  He served at Hickam Field, Ewa, Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii with the Tow Target Detachment, 4th Reconnaissance Squadron (H), 5th Bombardment Group (H).  He was killed during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.

He was listed as MIA.
