Last Known Activity

COL McCabe was commissioned in the Infantry in September 1900.

He served in Infantry, Cavalry and Field Artillery assignments.

He was Military Attache to Czeckoslovakia in 1920 - 1922 and to Italy 1924 - 1926.

He was the US Army General Staff G2 from July 1937 - July 1940.

COL McCabe retired in July 1940.  

He was recalled to active duty and served May 1943 - June 1946.
