PRIVATE STANLEY WILSON BENNETT SON OF CHARLES AND FANNIE BENNETT WAS KILLED IN ACTION AT CORREGIDOR ON 17 FEBRUARY 1945. STANLEY WAS MARRIED AND HAD 3 CHILDREN AND HAD BEEN LIVING IN PHILIPPI WEST VIRGINIA.

He served with Company K, 34th Infantry Regiment, 24th Infantry Division and was initially interred in the Manilla American Cemetery, Philippines.
