PRIVATE FIRST CLASS BURLEY KETTERMAN SON OF ISOM AD EMMA KETTERMAN DIED OF WOUNDS IN THE PACIFIC. HE HAD SERVED WITH COMPANY "H" 21ST INFANTRY REGIMENT, 24TH INFANTRY DIVISION IN THE PACIFIC FROM MAY 1943 UNTIL HIS DEATH. PFC KETTERMAN WAS WOUNDED ON 14 NOVEMBER 1944 AT BREAKNECK RIDGE, LEYTE, PHILIPPINE ISLANDS AND DIED 4 DAYS LATER.

BEFORE THE WAR BURLEY HAD WORKED AT THE LITTLESTOWN CANNING COMPANY IN PENNSYLVANIA.

PFC KETTERMAN WAS LAID TO REST AT THE MOUNT CARMEL CEMETERY IN LITTLESTOWN.
