PRIVATE FIRST CLASS MILTON FLOYD SLAUBAUGH WORKED AS A FARM HAND BEFORE BEING INDUCTED INTO THE ARMY ON 6 APRIL 1942. HE WAS ASSIGNED TO THE 635TH ENGINEER CAMOUFLAGE COMPANY STATIONED IN ICELAND AND THEN IN EUROPE PARTICIPATING IN THE NORTHERN FRANCE AND RHINELAND CAMPAIGNS. PFC SLAUBAUGH WAS HONORABLY DISCHARGED ON 16 OCTOBER 1945. MILTON SLAUBAUGH PASSED AWAY IN JUNE OF 1979 AT HORSE SHOE RUN WV AND IS BURIED AT THE MOUNT GNEGY CHURCH CEMETERY IN MARYLAND.
