Last Known Activity
SFC James Maddox served with M Company, 3rd Battalion, 31st Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division.

He was captured on 2 December 1950 when his unit was "pushed south towards Hagaru-ri, North Korea.  He was one of many men who was marched to Reksil Li , Korea.  He died twenty days later of  exhaustion and pneumonia, essentially cruelty and neglact.

His remains were not recovered.
