PRIVATE FIRST CLASS GEORGE HAVRAN SON OF PAUL AND DOROTHY HAVRAN OF PRESTON COUNTY WEST VIRGINIA WAS KILLED IN ACTION ON 25 SEPTEMBER 1944 IN  PLASMOLEN NETHERLANDS. HE SERVED WITH COMPANY "E" 2ND BATTALION, 325TH GLIDER INFANTRY REGIMENT, 82ND AIRBORNE DIVISION.  HE WAS ORIGINALLY BURIED IN THE SAME GRAVE WITH PRIVATE FRANK J GRELLE AS "UNKNOWN SOLDIER X-2064" HE NOW RESTS AT THE AMERICAN WAR CEMETERY MARGRATEN IN THE NETHERLANDS PLOT:K-ROW:8-GRAVE:13.
