HE SERVED IN ALASKA WITH HEAD QUARTERS OF THE THE 201ST INFANTRY REGIMENT FROM 12 SEPTEMBER 1941 TO 2 APRIL 1944. PFC HUMPHREY WAS HONORABLY DISCHARGED ON 30 JULY 1945. HE PASSED AWAY ON 19 AUGUST 1963.
