Sgt. Musgray served with K Company, 3rd Battalion, 24th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was listed as MIA when his unit was overrun by Communist forces northeast of Seoul on 23 April 1951.

His remains were identified on 14 June 2010.
