BG Anthony C. Trifiletti
USMA 1964 - BIO
Brigadier General Anthony Trifiletti was born in Ohio and graduated from West Point in 1964.  He was commissioned into the Armor branch, with a first assignment at Schoffield Barracks, Hawaii.   He served two combat tours of duty in Vietnam and was awarded two Bronze Star Medals w/Valor Device, a Purple Heart and an Air Medal.  General Trifiletti was an exchange officer at the Royal Officer Course in Britain in 1969 and earned a Master of Science degree from Stanford University in 1973.  He taught in the Department of Engineering at both West Point and at the Air Force Academy.  After graduating from the Army War College, General Trifiletti commanded the 3rd Brigade of the 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson and ended his army career as Commanding General of new equipment Test and Experimental Command at Fort Hood, Texas.  His additional decorations include the Legion of Merit w/three oak leave clusters and the Distinguished Service Medal, our nations highest non-combat military award.  Since retiring from the Army General Trifiletti has worked for a large defense contractor as Program Manager for a major weapons system and is now Chairman of the Board of Nations Comtec Corp in Colorado Springs.
