Sgt. Harry Briggs was interred in Bethel Memorial Cemetery, Pennsauken, New Jersey.

He had served a previous enlistment, 17 May 1945 - 14 February 1947.  He re-enlisted 28 July 1948.  

In Korea, he was assigned to F Company, 2nd Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Divsion.  He was killed in action in the Taegu Area, South Korea.
(Note: Also listed as serving with the 512th Military Police Company, 40th Infantry Division. )
