Last Known Activity Cpl. Otto Abbot enlisted in the Army in March 1913 at Lincoln, Mebraska.
He served as a Corporal in Company A, 26th Infantry in France as an expert rifleman in the Sniper Platoon. His unit entered combat in Febrauary 1918. He was severely wounded in March 1918 during a battle in France, and was in the hospital for some time. He had just returned to service when he was wounded again, and this time died of his wounds.
He was finally interred in the Newkirk Cemetery, Newkirk, Oklahoma.
