You Are Not Forgotten, Mike Posted on 11/11/14 - by Jim Perrot, Fenton, MO jp2908@sbcglobal.net
Want to let you know, Mike, that you are still remembered and in my prayers always. I laugh every time I think of you and how mischievous you could be when we were young and full of it, just a few short years before you lost your life in that "hell hole" called Viet Nam. Little did any of us know at our younger ages that life could be so fragile. You were way too young when you left us (19), Mike, giving the ultimate sacrifice for our dear country. May you rest in peace, my friend, and God Bless you and your family.

Mike and I were close friends in South St. Louis in mid 60's he joined the Army and I went to the Marines. We both needed more discipline in our lives after less than promising high school careers."O" as we called him, had really started to shine in the Army. His sacrifice, along with I believe 8 or 9 other members of his platoon that day (6/15/67)will not be forgotten by me and my family. Rest in Peace my best friend.
