In fact, he was commissioned January 1, 1931, or, about a year before his son was born. Judson Albert Millspaugh, Sr. retired a Captain. He divorced his wife and Judson's mother, in 1945. Judson's Dad was born in 1903 and died in 1960 at Chatham, Georgia. Judson Junior entered the Army in 1948 and was assigned to the 25th Armored Reconnaissance Company while it was stationed in Osaka, Japan doing Occupation duty. He entered the Korean Conflict on July 17, 1950 having landed in Pusan, South Korea. Eleven days later, he was killed, probably around the Pusan Perimeter trying to drive the North Koreans back. He was buried in Arlington National Cemetery (Plot: Sec: 12; Site 1599). His father (Judson Senior) was latered interned in the same Cemetery on June 17, 1960 in Sec: 12; site 1715. Just a few rows away from his son. When Judson Junior was returned to his father, the body was originally sent to him in Key West, Florida where he was residing at the time.
