PFC Soloman Emanuel (US 53104884) was born in 1931 in Saluda, South Carolina.  He had 21 months of service when he died so he probably entered the Army in the late summer or early fall of 1950. After training he was assigned to the 25th Reconnaissance Company of the 25th Infantry Division which was committed into Korea.  Soloman was a Black American Soldier.
