My wife and I are currently living in Leavenworth, KS. We are both currently retired and enjoying our life as older adults, visiting our children and grandchildren as often as we can afford to. I am currently finishing my third year as a Seminary Student attending the Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I still have 2 years left to finish my MTS (Masters of Theological Studies) and my MDiv (Masters of Divinity). I retired from the Army after 28 years, 11 months, and 3 days on February 29, 2012, at the pay grade of E-7, Rank - Sergeant First Class, Duty Position �?? USDB Trusty Unit OIC. I started my second career as a Corrections Officer with the State of Kansas. I was assigned to the Lansing Correctional Facility, formerly known as the Kansas State Penitentiary, in Lansing, KS. I retired from the Kansas Department of Corrections (KDOC) after 13 years and 2 weeks at the Pay grade of Corrections Supervisor I, Rank �?? 1st Sgt., Duty Position - A1 Cell House OIC on 1 February 2020. Â
My wife served in the WV and DC Air National Guards for 6 years. She completed her service at the Pay Grade of E-4, Rank - Sgt. My wife's second career was that of a Military Spouse and Mother of 6 children. She served 26 years and 4 days on her Duty Assignment as an Army Spouse, which she retired from on February 29, 2012. She started her third career as an employee of the Federal Government working as a Child Youth Program Assistant with the Child Care Centers in Fort Leavenworth, KS. As of the summer of 2018, my wife has retired.

Sergeant First Class (SFC) Dennis W. Truman was born in Charleston, West Virginia on 19 January 1965. He entered the West Virginia Army National Guard on 28 March 1983, while still a senior in high school. Enlisting on the Split Option Phase, SFC Truman attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO in 2nd Battalion, 2nd Training Brigade, Bravo Company from June thru August 1983. SFC Truman is married to the former Relma Rae Goodnite (m. 29 March 1986), and they currently reside in Leavenworth, KS. Together they have raised six beautiful children, Mary (31), Donald (30), Laura (29), Andrea (26), Kara (25) and Dennis (20).
SFC Truman and his wife, Relma Rae are the proud grandparents of SIX grandsons and ONE granddaughter.  Henry Aaron Wheeler, born on 14 Aug 2013, at 0421 hours. He weighed in at 9lbs, 2.9 ounces at 21 inches long; Levi Matthew Alan Orr was born on 14 Jan 2014, at 0108 hours. He weighed in at 6lbs, 13 ounces at 19.5 inches long. On August 22, 2014 we added two more grandsons to our famly. Joseph Isaac Orr was born on 15 November 2003, and Joshua Timothy Orr was born on 09 June 2006. Elijah Alexander Orr was born on 3 August 2015 at 0911 Hours. He weighed in at 7 lbs and 19.5 inches long. Corin Graham Wheeler was born on 25 October 2015 at 1246 hours. He weighed in at 8 lbs 1 oz and was 21 inches long.  Abigail Rae Wheeler was born on 14 April 2017 at 0100 hours. Â
