I still miss you, Michael
Michael: I knew you as a friend in dog training in Ft. Benning and served with you with the 57th Scout Dog Platoon, 198th Infantry Brigade, Americal Division, Bayonet fire base (Chu Lai). I will never forget you and think of you often. I can only honor you by living a life of integrity, honesty, faithfulness (especially to my wife of 34 years)and love for my country. I miss you. Never Forgotten

One Among Many
I never knew him personally, but I heard his name spoken when we were learning the TET offensive and Quang Nai during my Vietnam class. He was someone my Vietnam teacher knew. I have learned so much during that course, and my heart aches for all those 58,000 and more people who were killed during this brutal and senseless war. Michael R. Munch will be remembered at least by me, even though I never heard his voice, saw his face, or knew his life.
