For Services Rendered: Aug 11, 2009

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Flagpole was dedicated on Veteran's Day 1984.  Around it's base it reads:  "This Flag represents the Service rendered to our Country by the Veteran's of the Vietnam War.  The Flag affirms the principles of Freedom for which they fought and their Pride in having served in difficult circumstances."

I believe this Flag is even more of a tribute to our fallen soldiers - they sacrificed their lives for it.
