Both you and my husband (John Terry Joyce) were sent to "Nam" at the same time. He returned a much changed man and you did not return.

I remember you cousin as a young guy driving around Madison in your car before you left, not wanting to go to "Nam" but having no choice.

I visited the wall in Washington, DC several years ago and made a rubbing of your name. It made me feel closer to you, but the "wall" made me so sad because of all the physical remembrances left by the wall by others. I just wanted to let you know that you are not forgotten.
