I volunteer at Vietnam Veteran of America Chapter 317 . I answer the phones and meet and greet people . I have become interested in some military ( Vietnam War ) Facebook pages . I plan on becoming involved with my local community center when the weather gets better .

PTSD is nothing to be ashamed of - it is a desease we didn't ask for ! We need to encourage each other , accept each other and understand each other . By being open about our problems we can help others to get diagnosed and seek help . If we continue to work at it we can get better - but it takes WORK . I wish the best for all my brothers ! My brother will soon be celabrating his 50th year in law enforcement , he retired from Army Reserves as a Major & he & his wonderful wife raised 2 great kids . My nephew & his wife have a beautiful girl & boy . My niece & her husband have a great son & little girl . Boy do I love spending time with them .
